Delivery Information

Delivery time depends on what you have ordered and where you live:

Spa Chemicals, Supplies, Accessories

WHEN?

The majority of supplies orders are shipped out the same or next business day.  We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays.  Most supplies are shipped from our Distribution Center in Clearwater, FL. Your order may arrive in multiple cartons on different days.  Some bulky items are shipped factory-direct.

How?

Most supplies orders for delivery in the contiguous USA are shipped UPS ground*.  If shipped UPS, and you provided us with a valid email address, UPS should email you a tracking number within 24 hours of the day we ship your order.  See UPS Online Tracking .  Use the UPS chart below to estimate the arrival time of your order.

* NOTE: We ship some lightweight items via the Postal Service because Priority Mail is often faster & comparable in cost to UPS.  This helps to get these items delivered in 1 - 3 days.  We also use Postal for most Alaska & Hawaii packages. Postal package tracking is not available.


 

Spa Covers

Your new spa cover is custom-made to order and will normally be completed in 7-10 business days, not counting Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays. Therefore, you will receive your cover in approximately 3 weeks. Once your spa cover has been shipped, we will contact you with additional tracking information. Free Shipping for spa covers is only for the contiguous United States. Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and overseas delivery may incur additional shipping with their orders.

Soft covers are typically shipped within 1-3 business days. You can expect to receive them within 1- 2 weeks. As these are quickly shipped, you will not be contacted with tracking information.

WHEN?
Since spa covers are too large for UPS or Postal delivery, they are normally shipped via 52’ Tractor Trailer . The delivery address must be tractor trailer accessible. Please allow an additional 3-6 business days in transit after completion, for delivery in the contiguous USA.

Note: An appointment clerk from the shipping company will contact you approximately 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a time that is good for you. You MUST inspect your cover before you sign for it. Once you accept and sign for your cover, neither Discount Spas Direct, LLC nor, the manufacturer will be held liable or responsible for ANY damages to the cover. If you make arrangements with the shipping company to deliver your cover without you being present to inspect it, you are accepting completely responsibility for your cover. Again, neither Discount Spas Direct nor the manufacturer will be held liable or responsible for ANY damages to the cover in these instances.

Each of our spa covers are custom made for you. Discount Spas Direct, LLC and our manufacturers will not be held liable for spa covers that do not fit or are otherwise unsatisfactory due to the nature of the cover or misinformation provided by the customer. If, however, the cover does not fit due to an error on our part, we will replace the cover and remake it to your original specifications, as noted on your invoice. In this instance, a new cover will be made and shipped to you. The old cover will be picked up when the new cover is delivered.

Spa Repair Parts


WHEN?

The majority of spa parts are shipped out the same or next business day.  We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays.  Some parts are shipped from our Distribution Center in Clearwater, FL. and others from our Arizona and California warehouses.

HOW?

Heavy or bulky parts orders for delivery in the contiguous USA are usually shipped UPS ground for delivery in 2 to 6 business days.  Small lightweight parts are often shipped Priority Mail for delivery within 1 to 3 days.  Your order may arrive in multiple cartons on different days


Spas and Hot Tubs
 
 
WHEN?
 
 Your hot tub is custom-built to order, and will normally be finished, wet-tested, and ready to ship out in about 25 business days (four to Six calendar weeks).  You will be receiving a brand-new, factory-fresh spa-- not one that has been sitting in a dusty warehouse for months.  All spas ship from our plant in Clearwater, Florida. 

An additional shipping fee will be added to your invoice for items going to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, ME, MT, ND, NH, NM, NV, OR, RI, SD, UT, VT, WA, and WY.

HOW?

Since hot tubs are too large for UPS delivery, they are shipped via freight van.  Please allow an additional 7-10 business days transit time after completion, for delivery in the contiguous US. See Curbside and Back Yard Delivery for Details

Normally the freight company will contact you by phone in advance of the delivery, to let you know the expected arrival window. You will need to be on hand for the  curbside delivery and to check for damage. You do not have to unload the spa, but will need to arrange for help in moving the unit to where it will be set up in your yard or home.

 

Curbside Delivery

Residential deliveries arrive on a tractor-trailer truck. The delivery address must be tractor-trailer accessible. Delivery is curbside only.

The freight company is not required to move the product(s) to your desired location. You are responsible for removing all packing materials from the shipment while the freight carrier is there and inspecting the product for damage and noting any damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is extensive, please call us for guidance on whether to refuse the product. If no damage is noted on the delivery receipt, then the delivery will be considered "clear" and the transaction will be considered complete.

The freight company will contact you before they deliver your product(s). Please plan ahead to arrange means of getting the product(s) off the truck and to your desired location. Most of our products require from 2 to 6 individuals present at delivery time to get the product(s) off the truck and to move it to your desired location. Your first option is to have several people (from 2 to 6) when the product(s) is delivered to take it/them off the truck.

Your other option is to request a hydraulic liftgate truck to unload your product(s). The fee to purchase this additional service from our company is $115. You can arrange for and purchase this additional service when you place your order with us to ensure a smoother delivery. Please be aware that even with this service, you will still need 2 to 6 people to move the product(s) from the curb to your desired location.

Receiving Freight: Clear Delivery
Receiving freight can be as easy as sending it if you follow a few steps:
1. Stay in contact with your supplier to find out when your shipment was shipped, what carrier it was given to, and an approximate arrival date.
2. When the shipment is delivered, inspect it immediately for obvious signs of damage.
3. Compare the number of shipping units received to the number listed on the delivery receipt.
4. Sign the delivery receipt.

The driver will help you receive your shipment and answer your questions. While the driver is there, compare the pieces of freight you are receiving to the delivery receipt. If condition and quantity of your freight is acceptable, the driver will ask you to sign the delivery receipt. The driver willgive you a copy, and take the original signed copy with him/her (as proof of delivery) for his/her employer's records. A signed delivery receipt with no exceptions, is called a "clear delivery." Clear deliveries mean that there were no shortages or visible damage at the time of delivery.
